STAVE HILL ECOLOGICAL PARK
Working with Stave Hill Ecological Park designing and making a piece of public furniture. Located inbetween the Small Circle Meadow and The Shed and compound garden, in a small meadow sits this concrete seat. Inspired by its surroundings it combines the harsh materials of the city (concrete) with wood from the park.
The seat gradually slopes into a floor tile, where a broken glass bottle—retrieved from the park—is set into it, resembling a modern day fossil.
