VAPESHeritage Craft Project, “Rethinking the Fan”, for the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers, exploring different materials which could be used to make a hand fan. Collecting used disposable vapes which were then taken apart, their outer tube was cut open and they were flattened out. The paint sanded off to a point leaving reminance of the various colours.
These small sheets were then rivited together using small tabs creating a larger sheet.
